Give Like No One Else

If I won the lottery, the first things I would change about my life is that I would pay off all of my remaining debt. Once doing that, I would be able to invest the rest and live off of the interest. With such a significant amount of money, above all else, I want to be able to give to others. I have a lot of friends in missions and ministry that I would love to help support more significantly than I already do. I would love to be able to grant scholarships to deserving students and use my money to educate others on how to be financially independent. I would love to help families without the money be able to adopt children without going into debt as well. I also would like to purchase a vacation property or two that I could share with others who normally would not be able to afford to take their families on vacation.

Life Doesn’t Have to Be Complicated

For the longest time, people have been trying, looking, craving, wanting and even needing a reason to get up in the morning. For some people lucky enough to not even think about it is annoying to say the least. But for someone who’s had enough or too much of the routine of the daily grind, life needs a little pick me up. That’s why companies are required by law to give soulless pawns like us vacation time. Yes, I am one too. But as for the reason… The thing that drives me… For all the complains I have about a dead-end job, all the bills and all the taxes and everything that comes at me all at the same time… NONE of it matters to me when I see my little girl smile.

Vacation craze

Once, my family took at 2000-mile drive to Georgia.  Now, at the time, my sister was just a baby, and she cried the whole way.  The heat of the Southern sun was too much for us to take.  I remember at night there was also a huge storm, and my mom kept screaming, “Stop! Watch it! Help!”  The topper of our van kept falling off on the side of the road.  Our suitcases broke open and our clothing piled up in heaps of wet gross rags.  “I don’t want to wear those to the conferences!”  My mom cried.  My sisters and I all bugged each other the whole time, just picking on nerves.  When we got to our destination, it was too late to stop at a hotel, so we all slept in the van for another long night. Instead of going to the conferences, my sisters and I opted to stay in the hotel and catch cabin fevor.  The funny thing is that this was the worst family vacation ever, but it’s the only one that I remember that well.  Therefore, it is the most memorable.
